Geometric dilution <幾何稀釋法>：The medicament is first mixed with an equal weight of diluent; a further quantity of
 diluent equal in weight to the mixture is then incorporated. The process is repeated
 until all the diluent has been added.
 幾何稀釋法是以同重量的稀釋劑加入藥品中，充分混合後，再以同重量稀釋劑添加。如
 此重複操作至所有預定劑量的稀釋劑添加完畢。意即重複以等重量的稀釋劑稀釋所需之
 藥材。以避免低量的藥劑不易調劑所導致的誤差。



Uniform mixing of a small amount of powder and a large amount of powder using a mortar and pestle can only be achieved using a technique  called geometric dilution.
幾何稀釋即利用杵臼將小量粉末與大量粉末規則混合。



In geometric dilution, a portion of the large amount of powder that is approximately equal to the small amount of powder is added to the mortar
將稀釋劑取與藥劑等量，置入研砵中



and the powders are triturated
將粉末充分混合



A second portion of the large amount of powder approximately equal to the triturated powder is added.
再將稀釋劑取與方才研砵中粉末等量，置入研砵中




The powders are triturated.
將粉末充分混合



A third portion of the large amount of powder approximately equal to the triturated powder in the mortar is added.
再將稀釋劑取與方才研砵中粉末等量，置入研砵中


The powders are triturated.
將粉末充分混合




The additions of the large amount of powder continue in a similar manner
將稀釋劑以與上面相同的方法重複操作





with trituration between each addition until all the powder has been added.
直到達到我們所需要稀釋的濃度。
