根據handbook on injectable drugs的描述：
Stability：Intact vials of lorazepam should be refrigerated and protected from light and freezing. The manufacturer has stated that the product may be stored for up to two weeks at room temperature. However, in response to an inquiry, the manufacturer acknowledged that both physical and chemical stability are acceptable for up 60 days at room temperature. As with other parenteral products, lorazepam should be inspected visually for particulate matter and discoloration before use and should not be used if it is discolored or contains a precipitate.
簡單的說，Ativan需要冷藏及避光，但不可以冷凍。不過他也可以在室溫下面置放約兩週，然而，製造廠（應該是惠氏吧）說，其實ativan也可以在室溫下保存60天而不會有物理性或是化學性的變化。當然，如果顏色變了或是有沈澱，就不可以用了。
