今天有學妹問我：學長，請問有雙環抗憂鬱劑嗎？

當然是有呀。不過現在已經看不到了

從martindale裡面可以查到這個藥物：

Zimeldine hydrochloride is a serotonin reuptake inhibitor that was formerly used in the treatment of depression. It was withdrawn worldwide in September 1983 due to the risk of Guillain-Barré syndrome associated with its use.

不過這個藥物並不是只有這樣的歷史背景。

有幾何異搆物的藥物其實不常見，而Zimeldine因為雙鍵缺乏旋轉性，所以使他有立體化學及有幾何異搆物。

類似這種型態的藥物有一些大家很熟悉的，就是三環抗憂鬱劑：amitriptyline及triprolidine
